by I've said repeatedly that the tech level this game is set at is around 13th Century Europe levels(1200ad-1300ad). Yes the Matchlock gun was used in Europe in around 1400s, by the ottomans, who were in frequent trade with the people who invented gunpowder.
But more than the historical justification, is that I don't want firearms in my game. The lore I've written doesn't allow for them, any such weapons would dramatically change the kinds of fighting and wars that take place and the research I've done doesn't include 16th-19th centuries Europe.
So if you're planning on trying to argue in favor of me allowing guns, you should find a different game.
